Accounting Program

The Accounting Program’s mission is aimed to prepare the students with knowledge, skills, and abilities in accounting proficiency to be productive members of their profession and society. With specializations and concentrations in taxation and auditing, the accounting program is designed to provide excellence in teaching and to prepare the students for different career opportunities and further academic studies with professional certifications.

Through our Accounting Program, the students will be able to develop advanced accounting competency, in-depth skill and analysis to allow them to compete with up-to-date knowledge, practices and government regulations in accounting, taxation, and auditing field.

With the high demand for qualified and competent accounting professionals in the industry, the Accounting Program is committed to keep developing various applications and innovations using Information Technology to help the students face challenges of a global business environment in professional accounting and financial services careers.

Objectives

The objectives of Hospitality Management Program are:

    • Accounting Knowledge | Focuses on the in-depth theoretical concepts and applications in general and advanced accounting. Students will demonstrate a base knowledge, skills and professional orientation consistent with the accounting profession.

     

    • Accounting Proficiency | Students will understand various accounting subjects and competencies, such as the traditional cost accounting concepts, budgeting process, cash flows, forensic accounting, taxation, auditing, variance analysis, decision making performance analysis, and responsibility accounting.

     

    • Financial Statement | Students will learn how to prepare proper financial statements and perform in-depth analysis according to the generally accepted accounting principles and standards. Students will also be able to interpret the business implications of financial statement information.
